How To Use Your Smart Phone As A Remote For Your PC

Hello Class, I have not wrote about this before but some of us here have learned from me on this before. Now what am i talking about? lets learn how to control your computer with your smart phone.

Things you will need for this projection,

• Your android phone with a working hotspot so that you can share with your computer.
• If your phones hotspot does not work, no problem you can get a Network Host to host both your phone and your computer. A WiFi network is required.
• A laptop or a computer with a wifi capacity so that it can connect to the phones hotspot.
• You will also need a server software msi, i will go for gmote is the best among the rest, and an apk for the gmote that will be installed on the phone. you can get that from the play store.

You can also download the files at click to the file names.

First you will install the java to the PC and the Gmote to the PC.
Install the gmote apk to the phone and then put your phones hotspot on you can choose to make is open when you dont have any credit on it because you wont need any credit for this work.

Now connect your PC to the phones hotspot. lunch the gmote on the pc and for the first time of lunch, it will ask you for a password, enter one that you will recall because you will need to put same password to phone when you are asked,

Simple and almost done, come to the notification area of your PC the extreme right of the task bar then right click on the gmote and you will see help, hover the cursor on it and you will show ip address you can write or keep it, we will need it.

Now open the gmote on the phone and for the first time it will ask you to find your server, do it manually and enter ip address or it may show you available server then you connect.  Here what happens is that two device can communicate because of the server.

You can play media files directly on your phone from your PC disk.
